Parent/Child (6-24 months)
The goals of the Parent/Child Program are to create a positive experience for both the child and parent; to encourage children to experience, explore, and test the aquatic environment; to provide parents and children with enjoyable interactions with other participants in the class; and to provide for a safe environment in and around water. This program helps parents form reasonable and healthy expectations of their child’s progress through songs, games, and fun activities. A parent or trusted adult is required to participate in this class.

Perch (24-36 months)
This class is designed for the child who is too old for the Parent/Child class and too young for the Preschool Swim class. The goals are to encourage children to continue to progress and enhance their water experience. The time spent in this class will focus on developing fundamental skills, such as floating (back & front), rhythmic breathing (bobbing), proper kicking, and continued group socialization. Games and songs are still an important part of this program. A parent or trusted adult is required to participate with the child in this class.
