  • Have you been wanting to try scuba? In just one evening this class will let you experience what it is like to be under water.   • A time for Boy Scouts to have a certified instructor guide them through the requirements needed to earn swimming badges such as aquanaut for Webelos and swimming badges for Boy Scouts.

American Red Cross

Lifeguard Re-Certification Course

This course is intended for individuals that need to renew their certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding.  A comprehensive review and test of all lifeguarding skills will be completed.  All other skills will be tested in a challenge format (no teaching or coaching of skills).  Course prerequisites include:  having prior certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, swimming 500 yards, retrieving a 10 pound brick.  CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer must be taken separately.

Adaptive Recreation and Leisure Program

The class provides activities for those with special needs, ages 12 and older.  Leadership, teamwork, and socialization are just a few of the skills incorporated into activities such as basketball, swimming, and other activities.  This is an especially great way for the Special Olympics athlete to stay in shape and try a new sport.
