About the Valparaiso Family YMCA
All are Welcome at the Y
As a part of the national and worldwide Y movement, the Valparaiso Family YMCA is all about promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. As a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on our numerous donors and volunteers who support our programs in myriad of ways. There's something for everyone!
The Valparaiso Family YMCA serves both Valparaiso, Indiana and the surrounding townships of approximately 60,000 people. The YMCA has a membership of nearly 15,000 individuals. Valparaiso is located in the center of Porter County, about 15 miles south of Lake Michigan and 45 miles southeast of Chicago.
