	"Thanks to the generous donation of the Valparaiso YMCA, my 7 year old daughter and I enjoy the benefits of a single parent family membership. Through the membership my daughter and I are able to use all the facilities available at the YMCA, as well as participate in one additional program for each of us, per session. My daughter is able to play indoor soccer, which she loves, and I haven.t found the time for my class yet, but I am considering doing Yoga. My daughter is also enrolled in before and after-school care and in the summer she will attend Fun Days. With the membership, we receive a discount on the Fun Day.s tuition which helps a lot. My daughter loves coming to the YMCA because they always have fun activities planned and they keep the kids really busy. Since we enrolled, I have been using my membership to workout in the cardio room after work. It is a great way to de-stress and get healthy. I haven.t lost very much weight (yet), but I have had a lot more energy and confidence. My daughter and I would like to say thank you to the YMCA and its members for their generosity."

	"Building Character – One Asset at a Time" In order to help support these scholarship and assistance programs, we organize an annual campaign every year to raise funds to meet the needs of individuals and families in our community. This year, we have enlisted the help of community leaders and volunteers to help raise $150,000 toward these scholarships. With your help, we will succeed!

	A gift of $75 will... build self-confidence by providing swim lessons and water safety programs for three children in our community. A gift of $150 will... make it possible for a child to attend two weeks of summer day camp filled with fun activities and opportunities to make new friends. A gift of $300 will... allow four kids to learn skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork through participation in YMCA Youth Sports Camps. A gift of $500 will... provide a YMCA membership for a Single Parent Family for a full year. A gift of $1000 will... enable one child to attend a YMCA after-school program for a year, a fun and safe alternative to being home alone.
