Summer Camp Registration is being held now
What are your kids going to be doing this summer? Every Year the Valparaiso Family YMCA Child care Department , ALLWays Learning Child Development Center, Youth Sports, and Wellness come together to offer your children a summer filled with adventure, and field trips. We understand that it is easy for kids to become bored during the summer, so we have established programming that we believe the kids will enjoy. New this year, is an aquatics summer camp offering Swim Stroke and Marine Biology camps.
Allow your kids to be a part of something special. Your child will learn how to do much more than swim at the Valparaiso Family YMCA. Allow them to experience great “first” opportunities by signing up for our summer camps today!

*****Youth Summer Memberships******
Youth Summer memberships are available from May 1 through June 30 and are for 3 months from the date of purchase. Cost for a three month youth summer membership is $69 from the date of purchase "for children 10 years of age through high school."
Sign up for the 6th Annual Valparaiso Triathlon!
Race Date: July 12, 2008 - Rogers-Lakewood Park, Valpo, IN
Fees: $55 Individual ($45 for USAT member) / $90 per Team plus $10 per non-USAT member on your team. Registration is available online at www.valpotri.net – printed registration forms are available at the Valpo YMCA and the Valpo Parks Department. Registration closes July 10 or when 500 person capacity is reached. Late fee applies if registering after July 6. Age Divisions: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+ with awards in 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. Teams: May consist of 2 or 3 members. Team zone in transition area. Distances: ¼ mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run. Common transition area for both transitions with racks provided. Event premium is a colorful T-Shirt.

Beginning June 1st we will once again offer an After-Hours Member Bonus Workout on Sundays through September 28th. This bonus workout will be available Sunday evenings between 4:30-7:30pm Members only will be able to utilize the Cardio Strength Center, free weight room, small gym, racquetball courts, whirlpool, and sauna. As this member workout time is being offered after normal business hours, no other services or administrative functions will be available. Your membership card is necessary to gain access to the facility during these special members only hours; so be sure to bring your card!
College Students are you ready for the summer? Take advantage of the 3-month summer membership for $132. There is no joiner's fee for this temporary membership. The 3 months are from the date of purchase.
