American Red Cross CPR/AED

FOR PROFESSIONAL RESCUERS AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS

Designed for individuals with a duty to respond to emergencies, this program combines discussions, video and hands-on training. Real-life rescue scenarios reinforce decision-making skills. Course covers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. Non-YMCA staff must contact Chuck Gutzwiller (x230) or Ruth Cavanaugh (x234) for enrollment authorization at 462-4185.

FOR WORKPLACES, SCHOOLS, AND INDIVIDUALS

Training meets OSHA Guidelines for First Aid Programs and combineslecture, interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments and hands-on training to teach participants lifesaving skills.
