Bring joy to a child this holiday season. Select an angel with the name of a child and suggested gifts from the angel tree. After you have shopped, simply bring your unwrapped gifts to the Y Courtesy Desk by Dec. 5.

Mindfulness Workshop with Porter Stark

Senior Social Outing: ENJOY ILLUMINATION THIS HOLIDAY SEASON WITH FRIENDS
Join us for a special holiday treat at Morton Arboretum's “Illumination: Tree Lights at the Arboretum." Walk along a paved path to see the beautiful Christmas lights synched to music performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra! Top off the evening with a narrated driving tour of the Rosemont Holiday Lights! Meet in the Valparaiso Y Lobby at 1:00 p.m. (Bus will return us to the Y by 9:30pm) Cost: $99 Members/$109 Community - includes bus, entrance to Morton Arboretum, meal at Sawa's Old Warsaw Restaurant, and tour guide. Breakfast with Santa
Bring the whole family and enjoy breakfast with Santa from 7:30-9:00 am. $6 per adult / $3 per child. Photo opportunities with Santa will be available, so bring your camera!

Yoga 101 Workshop
This workshop is for those new to yoga or who want a fresh look at the basics. Learn the most common practiced poses, show modifications, and how to use a yoga block and straps. Workshop starts at 4:00 PM. Register online or at the front desk.

Nutrition Seminar "The D.A.S.H."
Join Christy Cleveland RN, BSN for a presentation on "The D.A.S.H.". The DASH diet emphasizes the right portion sizes, variety of foods and nutrients. Discover how DASH can improve your health and lower your blood pressure.10:00AM in the Community Room. Free and open to the community.
Holiday Pickleball Doubles Tournament
Grab a partner and play in our special one-day Holiday Pickleball event. This will be a double elimination tournament beginning at 11:00am. Team registration fee is $20. Each team will consist of 2 players. Open to all ages - must know how to play Pickleball.
Shoot and score, by joining us for one of our three Youth Basketball Clinics for children in1st–6th grade. Clinic focuses on the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting and passing. Registration for the next clinic starting December 16-18 is open now through December 13. Members: $20/Community: $40. Register online or at the front desk. Come embrace the great sport of basketball because for our participants, it's all about learning skills and enjoying the game! Each team will meet for practice and a game once a week.
