School Age

The YMCA before and after school program is a great way for kids to start and end the day. The YMCA before and after school programs provide an environment where children can easily make friends, be part of a group, and participate in healthy activities where they are respected and appreciated. FAMILY MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT: 15% OFF Second Child.

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL FEES
•  4/5 Days | Before School Care | $57.50 per week
•  2/3 Days | After School Care | $42.50 per week
•  COMBO RATE | $87.50 per week for both before & after school care

​Cancelations
• If School closes early, Y Care will not run.
• If School is closed for the day but YMCA is open, we will hold a Fun Day until 6pm.
• If the YMCA is closed there will be no care available.

• Transportation is only for the Valparaiso schools listed that we serve. Space is limited.

Full and Half day FUN Days program invites children to try new experiences, giving children opportunities to explore new activities and build relationships. We provide a trusting environment where you and your child will feel welcomed.

ENROLL

• 6AM-8:30AM—Before School
• Upon Arrival 6PM—After School
• Follows planned Valparaiso school closures
• Students must be here by 9:30am or they will not be accepted that day
• Must be registered for Y child programing w/current paperwork on file
• Breakfast is provided 7-7:30 am
• Bring a full peanut free lunch and drink
• Depending on the FUN Day there may be a field trip
• Snacks are provided

FUN Day Fees:
• One time registration fee of $25 and a yearly supply fee of $50 for members and $75 for community members
• Full Day (6AM-6PM) $35  |  Half Day (Noon-6PM) $20  |  Full Day with Field Trip $41
• Parents of school age children not currently enrolled in school age programs need to fill out the registration packet.

• All paperwork is due to the Child Care Office the Wednesday prior to the week of care
• We offer after school care at 5 different locations
• Before school is only available for Valparaiso Public Schools
• Care is offered until 6pm. Late fee applies after 6pm
• One registration packet per child is sufficient for ALL Y Child Care programs
